Designed by and named for Colin Montgomerie, European PGA Tour luminary and 2010 Ryder Cup Captain, The Montgomerie Links was voted Vietnam’s best new course when it opened in August 2009 — the first 18-hole course in the Central Coast region. With its state-of-the-art golf academy and sleek new 3,000-square-metre clubhouse, it brought a new level of sophistication to the country’s golf scene.

Blueprints call for two championship courses at Danang Golf Club. For now, there’s just one — but what a layout it is. Credit architect Greg Norman and Mother Nature. Both had an equal hand in shaping the Dunes Course, a links-style masterpiece that evokes an experience often found in seaside layouts in the British Isles and Australia’s famed ‘Sandbelt’ region.
